This place has been around for many years and I am not surprised. It has a classic décor that hasn't changed in years, but that gives it character. There is a train running around the ceiling...fun for kids to watch. There is a large outside patio or you can dine inside. There is an attached parking lot. I ordered a bowl of chili, which was well flavored but no kick to it. They serve everything in disposable dishes. My friends had wings that they raved about. The corn nuggets are good to share. they have Rootbeer, Diet Rootbeer, and Birch Beer.....you don't find that on every menu. Prices are very good for the quality of food you receive.

Surprisingly clean for a "dive" restaurant. Choose your seat, grab your own menu and get your napkins ready. Wings are 4 star. Blue cheese is 5. I had the medium, which were tame, even for my sensitive receptors. Good crisp, but still plenty of batter to soak up. Cheese fries and onion rings were pedestrian. Cheese steak served on a little too much bread, which was a half-step above traditional, bleached buns. I'd stick with the wings to take home, or dine in if you're looking for a quiet place to get messy and enjoy conversation with your table-mates.

The wings are pretty good here. Nice and crispy the way I like them. However the wing sauce had drenched my fries to the point I couldn't really enjoy them. Also the wait service here wasn't exactly bursting with politeness.

I ordered 50 wings for $50 and received wings that were half the size of typical wings from Publix or Bru's Room. I am extremely disatisfied with the wings as well as the response from the lady who answered the phone when I called to complain that my girlfriend was charged $15 more than what was specified over the phone. If the wings were of decent size, I wouldn't complain. Unfortunately, not one person I had over for wings had a positive response. My overall perspective of Wings'n Things is: bad service, poor quality wings and overpriced. My friends and I will not be returning.

Has a very homey feel in a land of chain restaurants. Outdated as a place, but keeps a nice vibe. Got simple 10 wings & fries, adequately priced. Sat by myself outside, great service. A go to spot if you want to skip the chain restaurant feel & go to a local place.

Wings were good, but fries were soggy :-( should have sent them back, probably my fault. Service was pretty good as I went at lunch time, lots of pick up business, there were always several people at pick up line. I still got pretty good service even though they were busy, she kept my tea filled up and was pleasant enough. Have to say, got a pleasant surprise at the cashier, saw several people pick up cookies there, so when I got there to pay, asked the nice girl about them. She said you should probably get 2 or 3, they are awesome. A woman who was just putting her change away next to me, confirmed as she had 3 in her hand! Confirmed, they were friggin awesome! Will be back, ask for french fries crispy and see how it goes! I will go back and hope to remedy my experience w the fries...

I was craving wings for a week and wings and things hit the spot!!! We got the deal 25 wings curly fries and a pitcher soda 28$ which was good we got three different type of wings. Lemon peper Hot and Tirachi. They was all great. I gave them a four star because we chose to sit out side and the waiter took 15 mins to get us menu and drinks and it wasn't that busy food came out quick but thAt was our only problem. Lisa helped out choose our wings

Excellent wings cooked to order, some of the best in Fort Lauderdale. Neat little train that runs around the ceiling. Reminds me of something my father would have. Very awesome spot to eat that has character and age.

I come here very often. I love the waitress and service when I sit in to eat. The food is delicious. I am taking away two stars because of the wait time for to go orders is ridiculous. I even call in thirty minutes ahead of time every time and when I get there it's still not done. I don't think they start making the food until you've arrived. Which defeats the purpose. I also don't like the hospitality of the take out lady who is there during the day. She is no help whatsoever with a huge attitude. Everything on their menu is BOMB!!! Especially the lemon pepper wings. They also need a website or a comment box to leave feedback for the owner/manager.

Best wings from any restaurant in south FL. Been coming here for my entire life (technically longer, since I was in the womb), and I'm never disappointed. I like wings with a crispy drenched in sauce and butter. If you like the same, then you will enjoy Wings & Things tremendously.

This has turned into our Friday night wing stop! The staff is wonderful and know our orders by heart now. The atmosphere is great. Its a really fun place to be. The Steelers logos help too, since I'm originally from Pittsburgh. Food is great and Blue Cheese is the BEST I've ever had, and I usually HATE Blue Cheese. :) Don't change a thing!!!

I think this location is the original location and it was great. I have been to a couple others over the years. My son and I each got an order of wings and their onion thing. Wings were as good as ever. The sauce is awesome!! The onion thing isn't too spectacular. I'll stick to wings and fries next time!!

Curley fries were great. We got the trifecta wings. They are garlicky and spicy. Really good. Meghan was a great server. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely go back when in town.

Didn't have the wings but the burgers, buffalo chicken sandwich, philly cheesesteak and fries sucked. Even the soda did too, $3 for a fountain drink that was all ICE. They forgot the buffalo sauce on the "buffalo chicken" and the chicken was deep fried and heavily battered, a grease trap! The burger patties are low quality seem frozen, fries were soggy and not curly like mentioned oh and the bread on the cheesesteak was weird. Didn't like any of it. Very expensive! Almost $9 for a burger and almost $2 to ADD fries! Frozen low quality burger didn't even come with fries for almost $9! Never again.

Food is fine. No complaints with a nice selection of wings. I just will Never, ever, ever dine here again. Ever. The food is fine, it's the atmosphere that is really disconcerting. It must be experienced, it was a bit of a culture shock for me. I can't describe it. I recommend you go here just for the story you'll tell your friends.

I was borderline 3-4 stars, but it's not quite 4 stars. Came on a Sunday, but I've heard this place can get pretty packed. Loved the waiters I had, they seemed really nice and helpful. Also very good with keeping the drink cups full and providing fast service. Had the wings, which were nice and crispy. For a long time I didn't want to come here because I had one bad experience but I'm glad I have it another try. Came during lunch, so had the special and I didn't have enough space to finish all of it, so for around $11, it seems like a good deal especially with wings, fries and a drink. The reason I'm giving it 3 and not quite 4 stars is because the tables seem pretty dirty and my chair was dirty, which the waiter cleaned with no problem. The place could use a little cleaning, but other than that, I enjoyed the food.

I grew up coming here and didn't realize until I went away to college that the original Eddie Hauck wing sauce (basically a butter sauce) was not the way wings were served. To this day I have never had wings as good as these. Fantastic local joint with lots of character and feel good food!

Grew up here. Wings are amazing, fries are super.. Especially with vinegar. Cookies are always good. I like how they don't change decor, reminds me of when I was a child. That plus size lady in front though is so rude and exempts terrible customer service literally the past 20 times I have been there. Not only when I dine in but when I call for take out. She really makes me Not even want to eat there. I work in the biz and would never speak or treat a guest that way. Such a unpleasant feeling to be there with her bad energy and ride unfriendly manner. But the rest of staff is nice and like I said wings are like no other

The best hot wings in Florida. I love, love, love this place. The wings are fantastic, the fries covered in bacon in cheese are addictive and the peanut butter pie is a must have. Most people agree with that last one because there is only a slice left. The staff is fantastic and they have a covered deck. If you go to Pompano you must go

Crispy wings, no fatty skin. Blue cheese is a great homemade blend. Love their BBQ sauce its just like Bobby Rubinos. Trifecta wings are super good, the rest of my party really enjoyed the medium wings and sweet/sour. Such reasonable prices. Would def go back.

Is driving from downtown Fort Lauderdale to this hidden place in an older, almost industrial part of Pompano Beach worth the drive? I gave it five stars, didn't I? Wings 'n' Things is a "sit down, get dirty, and enjoy the food" type of place. If you're expecting gold leaf moldings and South Beach chic furniture, well, you'll be welcomed inside anyway. There's something for everybody: the toy train choo-chooing and trekking along above you; the gazillions of televisions to watch the news or sports; me for the ladies to look at...that never happens. The servers are super friendly and funny! Don't be afraid to joke around with them. It makes the dining experience so much more enjoyable, like you're having a Sunday potluck with your funny and crazy relatives at the park. Ask for Teresa...she's a hoot! The wings are definitely bigger than some of the chain restaurants and are finger-lickin good! Another Yelper mentioned in their review they could drink the sauce, it's so good. That might not be the healthiest thing to do, but you will definitely be tempted. I've stuck to their medium garlic and their sweet n tangy grilled, both great. My preference is the sweet n tangy grilled, but don't be afraid to venture out. The curly fries are definitely cut from fresh potatoes and piled high. The macaroni salad is a side you can't pass up! And you can't leave without getting their homemade 3-for-1 cookies! (The peanut butter cookies are amazing! Sucks if you have a nut allergy.) A great place to spend time with friends and get lost in the moment. The food, the staff, and the definite "no judgment for eating your weight in wings" feel makes this place a Broward County secret worth telling!

I've been here a couple of times on work lunch breaks. Both times I've kept it simple with a burger-and-fries combo. This is typically my third option on this street (Jacks and Chez Porkies being the other two). I make it a point to order the chicken-noodle soup, which is really good. It tastes just like mom's used to. It's a very friendly mom-and-pop place with okay service. The booths are confining for big dudes like myself, so I recommend tables if you're larger in stature. I'm interested in trying other things on the menu, so I'll be back.

Wings N' Things is a local place and hidden off the beaten path. It is not located on a major or busy road, so many people will tend to pass right by it. Locals and devotees frequent this place at least one a week and drive the business. My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place!! Their medium wings (or any style wings for that matter) are amazing! They have so much taste, without you losing your taste buds. The wings are always cooked perfectly, crispy outside and a soft meat inside. Their buffalo chicken sandwich is also a big hit. A nice portion size with tons of taste. They have an extensive enough menu to feed just about anyone, including kids. They also have beer pitchers for the guys and gals who would like to have beer and wings. The only downside to this place is that there are not enough TVs. Especially on NFL Sundays. Beer, wings, and football go together so wonderfully. It would be nice to see Wings N' Things add a few more, so that patrons can sit where they like and watch their favorite team. So if you're in the area, and you want great, tasty, and fast food, go to Wings N' Things. You won't be disappointed and you will find yourself coming back to satisfy your craving!!

Hipster snobs beware, this place is a true dive. Oh yeah, and it's in an industrial part of old Pompano not far from the railroad tracks or MLK Blvd for that matter. The place caters mostly to regular working people. Cops, firemen, mechanics, me... If that gives you pause then please feel free to continue on to Mizner park where you might feel more comfortable with the rest of the prada posers in east Boca or the like. This place is old. It's rundown. It's a little dingy. Yes that is a train set choo chooing around the ceiling. No, no one knows for sure why it's there or who built it. This is not the same old franks red hot cut with butter that EVERY other wing joint serves you. This is the real deal, straight from the source and all of the regulars that have been coming here for decades know it. The fresh cut curly fries are also fantastic. That clear squeeze bottle on your table with vinegar in it isn't for decoration kids. Squirt some on those hot fries! You like those chips with salt and vinegar don't you? Eddie ended up partnering with brudzinski on bru's room, but somehow the wings there are just not the same, they taste like franks red hot cut with butter... I would venture so long after he left Wings and Things he couldn't, or I like to think wouldn't replicate the recipe... The service here is also great, laid back and friendly diner type waitresses with straws sticking out of their aprons. A breath of fresh air from the children most wing spots hire based on cup size rather than personality and experience. I've never had anything but wings in all these years but their "things" get good reviews as well. Ninja Bonus: Chez Porkies is directly across the street and Jack's Old Fashioned Hamburgers, as well as Cielito Lindos are right around the corners. All four are Pompano Beach institutions that have withstood the test of time and have earned their business. Don't be afraid of our neighborhood. I promise no one will bite you, no spot will gouge your wallet, and you will receive the same great food and service when you return. And return you will...

restaurant is been there for 27 years and the inside is clean, however, restrooms are located in back of the restaurant, like many older places could use a bit more cleaning. neighborhood is more industrial and a little off the beaten path. If you find yourself in Broward County and are craving tasty wings, this is the place to go. Just thinking about their wings makes my mouth water. I'm not really sure what Scott Z. is talking about when he says that the hottest sauce is not remotely hot. We ordered the hot wings and were sweating so much, we were almost dehydrated. The beer is cold and frothy, the fries are delicious, and the servers are friendly. The place has a great neighborhood feel. It's definitely off the beaten track and a place that has a steady flow of locals. You can't go wrong with Wings 'n Things in my opinion.

If I could give this place 1/2 of a star, I would. I had really high hopes for good wings when I went here because they are always packed full of cars, but unfortunately that was not the case. I purchased 20 wings and an order of the fried mushrooms and paid $28.00. When I went home and looked at what I paid vs. the menu price, I was a little confused. Per the menu pricing (plus tax) my order should have come out to about $25.00....where did my other $3.00 go? On top of that, the lady who took our take-out order was incompetent, lazy, and bland in personality. When I handed her my credit card to pay she freaked out after a minute and told me that she thought she had charged my card for someone else's dine-in order that was about $10.00 more than my take-out order (GREAT). Luckily, that was not the case, but I am a strong believer in paying attention to what you are doing when you're at work. When we asked the take-out lady if we could purchase a piece of Cheesecake she hummed and huffed and said she wasn't sure that they had anymore (wouldn't even get up and CHECK mind you), and then she told me that I could pick 3 fresh baked cookies for a $1.00. I took some cookies, but seriously...I wanted Cheesecake. For the bland personality, that's just the easiest way that I can tell you that the take-out lady was all-together unpleasant to be around. I will refrain from using any worse language. On top of the horrible service and top dollar prices, I was given the SMALLEST wings I have ever seen...and they charge dang near $1.00 a piece for those things! I have never in my life been able to eat more than 6 wings, but I put my 10 pack down very easily and was not entirely satisfied. The wing sauces are very good and the home made blue cheese dip is also good, but those things are not enough to make up for the many many many negatives about this place. I will never purchase wings here again. Wings n' things SUCKS!!!!!!

Ohhh where to begin. How in the universe does this place have good reviews? It's so SO dirty inside. Every single "clean" booth we tried to sit at was dirty, one had food on the seats and ALL the tables had salt all over them. The table we chosee was sticky too. That should of been our first warning. Not only about the hygiene, but why did all our predecessors feel the need to use so much salt? Well, it didn't take us long to find out. We always order waters when we eat out because we aren't big soda drinkers. The water tasted terrible, so we ordered a soda. The soda tasted overwhelmingly like the water, and it was just grossing us out. We ordered the pork platter and the wings. The pulled pork was okay, but bland, and needed some salt. All in all not bad. The potato salad that it came with, was, well, basically boiled potatoes. It was horrid. We got the jerk wings, which weren't very good in my opinion, but my bf thought they were "alright". It came with the curly fries, which make me giggle when I think about how bad they were. How do you mess up something as delicious as curly fries?? Again, almost completely unsalted. On the bright side, we got the hot sauce with the wings, which is amazing. Probably the best hot sauce ever, they said it was a mixture of Frank's and something else. We couldn't wait to leave because the atmosphere was just so gross and we definitely won't be back. I can't believe we payed money for that meal. Ugh.

No idea how this place gets good reviews, it is SO overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. I had a craving for wings one night and recalled seeing a wing house on Cypress, so I took my gf there. The place is a smallish out of the way joint, nothing out of the ordinary. Typical fried/bar food. The wing special that night was 25 wings, fries, and a pitcher of pop for 24.99. Are you kidding me? They are chicken wings, not a porterhouse steak.(which I got at the Outback recently for less than the wing special). Watch any cooking show and they'll mention how wings are teh throw away part of the chicken and they are a high margin item, this place takes that to a new level. As much as I wanted wings, this place isn't a waterfront restaurant where 100' yachts pull up and billionaires wantonly order whatever regardless of price. Like I said before, chicken wings or porterhouse? I'll save teh cash for steak. Ended up getting the roast beef sandwich with au juice, a side of potato salad, and horse radish for 8.95. The gf got the sloppy joe special, came with fried potato chips(which is a horrible trend that needs to stop. Serve fries for god's sake.) My potato salad tasted like a boiled potato cut into pieces, I ended up dumping salt and pepper on it to make it palatable, but to no avail. The sandwich was ok, it came on a hamburger sized bun with a decent amount of meat, which had a slightly frozen taste. Every few bites tasted like I was licking a salt block; couldn't tell if it was the meat, bun, au juice or horseradish, and didn't really care at that point. Our waitress seemed to know the deal and acted really apologetic when she brought the bill. On the bright side I noticed a Tijuana Flats one the way home and stopped in for a couple tacos cause I was still hungry.

Most people don't know about Wings'n Things. But I've literally been going there my entire life, and that's for good reason. I used to go there weekly. Every friend I take there never forgets how good their chicken wings are. In addition they always have yummy specials, one of my favorite's being a white chicken chili served in a nice bread bowl. The staff there is super friendly. The atmosphere is super casual, so if you are looking for somewhere "nice", you may want to go somewhere else. But if you are looking for great food and service, go to Wings'n Things.

This is the first time I've been back this year; I've been coming since 2013. In the past, the wings and sauces have been pretty good. Unfortunately today's food experience was disappointing. We ordered the jerk wings, which were nice and crispy, but the sauce lacked flavor and didn't stick to the wings. They seemed overly oily and with very little seasoning. Dinner was the grilled chicken salad. The breast meat did not have much flavor. It tasted as though the grill needed a desperate cleaning. The garnishment on the salad were very sparse: sliced, raw onions, tomatoes, and boxed-croutons. The wait-staff was very nice, and the restaurant was clean.

Teresa runs a great down-home place here. I run my own restaurant in Lighthouse Point and appreciate how she and her staff operates. I always want to try other things but always come back to get wings. Consistent and never disappoints...
